📍 Nelson Ghost Town – Eldorado Canyon Your day begins with a drive through the Nevada desert to Nelson, a once-booming gold mining town tucked in the rugged terrain of Eldorado Canyon. 🏚️ This eerie and enchanting ghost town is filled with well-preserved 19th-century buildings, antique vehicles, and rusted mining equipment — telling the story of a bygone era. 📸 A favorite for photographers and history lovers alike. 🔦 Optional: Techatticup Mine Tour — Walk through old mining tunnels and hear tales of greed, gunfights, and gold. 🕒 Duration: ~1.0 hour

📍 Scenic Drive Along Historic Route 66 From Nelson, the tour heads southeast into Arizona, joining a scenic and storied section of Route 66, often referred to as “The Main Street of America.” 🏜️ Travel through wide-open desert landscapes, rugged mountains, and quiet solitude. 🛣️ This road was once a lifeline for travelers, now a symbol of freedom and American adventure.

📍 Route 66 Museum – Kingman, Arizona We continue to Kingman, a key town along Route 66. 🏛️ The museum is housed in the historic Powerhouse Visitor Center, where you'll take a nostalgic dive into America’s highway legacy. 🛻 Learn about the rise of Route 66 — from Native trade routes to Dust Bowl migration and the golden age of road trips. 🪧 Exhibits include restored classic cars, vintage road signs, and powerful photography. 🕒 Duration: ~45 minutes

📍 Kingman Locomotive Park 🚂 Just a short walk from the museum sits Santa Fe Steam Engine No. 3759 — a towering, coal-powered locomotive retired in the 1950s. 📷 Climb aboard the platform, take photos, and experience the scale of American rail history up close. 👨‍👩‍👧 A hidden gem for families, train lovers, and history buffs alike. 🕒 Duration: ~20 minutes

The tour is 9hr to 11hrs long depending on traffic and accessibility at the parks.
